- Roberta Coppersmith earned her BS degree in Elementary Education at the University of Northern Colorado. She taught for five years before starting a family of her own. The direction of her life has been greatly influenced by her own children's struggles with dyslexia. Her youngest son's initial exposure to different types of remediation were unsuccessful. Eventually, their search for a breakthrough led her family to a Lindamood-Bell™ Center, where her son completed an intensive program. Subsequently, Roberta became a clinician, consultant, and then interim director for a Lindamood-Bell™ Center. Her passion for helping students with special learning needs was unleashed.
