Welcome to Calvet & Associates Web Site
Description
Calvet & Associates was created in 1999 as the result of the strong tourism development in Nicaragua and Central America. This growth came together with a constant real estate value increase that has converted Nicaragua in the destination with the best investment opportunities in the region.
The senior partner and founder of Calvet & Associates, Raul F. Calvet is a well recognized personality in Nicaragua’s tourism industry. He started and participated directly in the creation or development of many of the most important and significant milestones which established the basis for the actual promising conditions in the country, such as the Canadian charter program into Barceló Beach Resort, the Cruise ships program arriving into the Pacific ports, as well as the first large European and US tour operators packages combining Costa Rica and Nicaragua. Also the creation of the Nicaragua Conventions Bureau, the National Marketing Committee and the new Government’s Tourism Marketing Strategy, as well as the creation of several tourism businesses in the areas of lodging, ground operations and conventions organization.
Millions of dollars in investments from our clients and in business operations by their corporations are our best record in Nicaragua.
