- Rapid Motorsports was founded in 1999 by Mike Kleman. Although Rapid Motorsports is a rather new company, Mike began work on small block Chevy and Mopar engines in the mid 70's and has specialized most recently in GM's LS1 V8 engine. Rapid Motorsports has been satisfying customers from all out race applications to street performance machines. We have serviced clients from older musclecar build-ups to the most recent EFI machines using GM L98, LT1 and LS1 power plants.
