For all those people out there that just get really tired of be bombarded with all kinds of advertisements from Blockbuster and Netflix, here's QwikFliks, conceived way back in December 2000. You won't see us force ad after ad into your face wherever you browse. Nor will be get a bunch of SPAM email from us. Our philosophy on running a successful business is built on customer satisfaction, not running millions of people through the mill in hopes of satisfying a few, like Netflix and the others.
In fact, I'm willing to say the Netflix is taking our ideas and using the big bucks it gets from all those customers that are signed up but have nothing in their list month after billable month, to put our ideas in peopes faces. Like our $10.95 plan. Why after 6 months is Netflix now pushing the heck out of its old $11.99 plan. We're cheaper and still better! But they need to run millions through their process so that the books look good to the investors. Remember, investors first when running a big business.
Not at QwikFliks. QwikFliks is a small family company. Since the beginning, we decided that it should stay small and limit the number of subscribers so that we could be fair to each and every customer. And we have found many customers that want to see this fair play go both ways. Us and them.
