I began quilting 8 years ago and have made over 60 (yes, that is 6-0) quilts. Now, I'm not saying they were all bed-sized quilts, although I have made my share of those also. For the first 2 years I quilted everything by hand, I finally realized I would not live long enough to create all the quilts I had in my head at that rate, so I began machine-piecing and quilting the majority. But I always have at least one hand-pieced, hand-quilted project going...along with several others...shhhh! (My husband thinks I finish them all).
I have taught beginning quilt classes, sold a few of my creations, given a truckload away to family and friends... My name is Millie, and as you have probably guessed I'm a fabriholic. So, I have decided to share my love of fabric and art with you, by offering quality fabrics, books and patterns at reasonable everyday prices. If I get a good price for the quality goods I buy, I will pass the savings along to you. After all, I am a quilter first, a shop-owner second! For those of you, who have not shopped here before, I also give a small gift of appreciation to each of my customers. Without you, I would not be able to play among all these beautiful fabrics and talk/email to new friends daily.
