The PWA-NYC is on summer hiatus; but, we’ll be back with fabulous programming in the fall. We’ll announce our kickoff event at the end of summer to those on our mailing list. Also, we’re looking for new board members and committee members for 2006-2007. Some of the areas we could use help on is finalizing the event planning for next year, technology, and corporate partnership. Helena is an associate in the Office of the CIO at Goldman, Sachs, & Co. Prior to her current role, she spent two years performing business strategy and analysis for the CFO of the Investment Management Division. She is also a volunteer anchorwoman for New Tang Dynasty Television's "Asia Brief" (http://www.ntdtv.com/xtr/eng/aMain_e.htm, videoclip: http://www.ntdtv.com/xtr/clips/ebrief/10062004.ram ), a non-profit news program that specializes in impartial and comprehensive Asia news. In addition to serving as President for PWA, Helena is also on the Steering Committee for the Asian Professional Network at Goldman Sachs as well as the Events planning and Corporate Ambassador committees for the Forte Foundation (http://www.fortefoundation.org). She is the New York Representative of the University of Pennsylvania Asian Alumni Network (UPAAN) and sits on the marketing committee for the Epoch Times newspaper (http://theepochtimes.com). Helena is also involved with GenArt, Youth Venture, Big Brothers Big Sisters of NYC, and numerous other non-profit initiatives. Some of her passions include meditation (www.falundafa.org), world travel, the art of fashion, trying new restaurants, flying planes, and meeting people from all walks of life.
