Purna Pharmaceuticals is an independent Belgian company specialised in the manufacturing, from raw material to end-product, of non-sterile medicines, food supplements and cosmetics, namely of semi-solid preparations such as ointments, creams, pastes and gels, of liquid forms such as solutions, emulsions, suspensions, aerosols and of dry powders, under G.M.P conditions (Good Manufacturing Practice).
We do this as a contract manufacturer as well as for our own registered products and for export. Our strength is our customer-oriented flexibility, without affecting the quality. In order to be able to guarantee our flexibility and simultaneously maintain a high quality level we have constantly invested in new equipment (the oldest production machinery dates from 1989). With each machine acquisition the reproducibility assumes precedence in function of the process validation and the intrinsic capacity for producing high-quality products in a GMP environment.
Producing pharmaceuticals in a GMP environment also entails a strongly developed quality control and assurance environment (QC-QA) where a well-equipped laboratory, besides a routine in-process control system, is an excellent instrument for maintaining a high quality level.
