Founded in 1997, "PROSPECT HOUSES" Men's Recovery Houses currently have two locations in Dallas, Texas. Each house has a live-in house manager who has worked the TWELVE STEPS, and continues to practice the principals in their everyday life. Each manager is capable of giving twelve step support. Each manager is responsible for enforcing all house rules, taking clients U.A.'s when necessary, thus insuring the harmony and safety of each house.
We encourage clients to get involved in their houses and the lives of the men they share the house with. We are not a sober boarding house, we are a Recovery house! If a client expects to remain clean & sober, he will have to change his whole way of life. "PROSPECT HOUSES" offer a sense of fellowship and lasting friendships that many men have never experienced before.
Our houses are located on bus lines, close to neighborhood shopping, for those clients without cars. Both houses are non-smoking, smoking areas are provided outside for our smokers. Both houses have S.W. Bell telephones. They have digital cable in the common living areas. Each house has free washer and dryer acess. Full kitchen facilities are available, but each client is responsible for supplying their own food. All bedrooms are set up to house two men. Each client will have their own keys to the house and to their room. CLIENTS ARE RESPOSIBLE FOR SUPPLYING THEIR OWN BED LINEN AND TOWELS.
