Description
Located in Saint Paul, Minnesota just off historic Printer’s Row, the Process Type Foundry specializes in the design and distribution of contemporary typefaces. Our work has been featured in PRINT, étapes, HOW and STEP magazines as well as the book Metro Letters.
Named by PRINT magazine as one of the New Visual Artists for 2004, Eric is the principal and lead designer of the Process Type Foundry. In the past, Eric taught typography at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD), held an assistant design fellowship at the University of Minnesota Design Institute and served as a designer at the Walker Art Center. He is very into composer John Adams.
Nicole is co-principal and “the brains” behind the foundry. After earning her MFA at MCAD studying graphic design and the nature of fonts, she worked as a designer at non-profit arts organizations. Currently, she teaches typography and web design at MCAD where her students like to “Google” her name. She is very into history.
