Professional Turf Maintenance
Description
PTM combines over 120 years of experience in the golf course maintenance industry to assist our customers in defining the level they desire for their course. With photographic documentation, written specifications, input from Club representatives and/or Owner(s), as well as budget considerations, we can effectively define the maintenance standards that your Club requires.
Once the standards have been defined, PTM’s professionals will design a maintenance program that will achieve those goals. This program will utilize man-hour studies, fertilizer and chemical programs, equipment evaluation, line of play management and the Club’s requirements as it pertains to playing schedules. Pertinent information will be considered concerning location, environment, long-term goals and anything that may have influence on the operation of the maintenance program. With input from our staff and the varied experience available to us, we can build a program that will be accurate, effective and achievable.
PTM maintains contacts in the industry that enables us to employ quality Superintendents to fit the personality of each of the golf courses we manage. We have the experience to locate people with the necessary traits, not just a nice resume. We understand the importance of a good Superintendent. The Superintendent must be trained and motivated to insure a successful transition to the PTM maintenance program.
