- We live on a few acres about 5 miles NW of Goldthwaite, TX. We have 2 sons, Jaden - 4yrs, and Jalyn - 9mos. They are quite a handful, so we spend lots of time playing at home or at the local park. The boys love the outdoors just as Chris and I do. We have to be creative with entertaining them while we feed, check on kidding does, and try to keep a handle on chores around the house, yard, and goat barns/pastures. Jaden has spent alot of time with us in the pastures checking on boer goats, dorper sheep/lambs, and cows, so he is not really impressed with all of the animals. I guess he just thinks everyone has a pasture full of animals like his. We have to take the boys to the zoo if we want to impress them with any "neat/different" animals.
