Precision Wires India Limited (PWIL) was promoted in 1989 by (erstwhile) Atlas Wires Limited (AWL) for the manufacture of Enamelled Copper Winding Wires. (Erstwhile) AWL’s first manufacturing facility was established in 1981 at Palej, Gujarat and it’s Unit II at Silvassa (U.T. of D.N.H.) in 1997
PWIL is a Public Limited Company listed with BSE, NSE, Delhi, and Ahmedabad Stock Exchange and the Promoter Director of (erstwhile) AWL have been in charge of the management and control of PWIL from the very beginning.
(Erstwhile) AWL amalgamated into PWIL with effect from 4th May, 2001. PWIL is the largest manufacturer of it s kind in India.
