About the Poweshiek County Republican Central Committee
The Poweshiek County Republican Central Committee coordinates the activities of the G.O.P. or Grand Old Party for Poweshiek County Iowa including the communities of Brooklyn, Deep River, Grinnell, Guernsey, Hartwick, Malcom, Montezuma, Searsboro, and portions of Barnes City & Victor.
The Republican Central Committee consist of members representing the 23 Precincts in Poweshiek County Iowa. Each precinct elects two central committee members with larger precincts electing three. The number of representatives is determined by the number of Republican votes casts in the precinct during the most recent general election.
Members serve two year terms and help to direct the activities of the Republican party in the various communities of Poweshiek County.
