Mark has studied screenwriting through various UCLA classes and resources and is an alumnus of Robert McKee's screenwriting seminar. He has also taught screenwriting at the undergraduate level. He finished his first novel in 2002. He is a native of Atlanta, Georgia and currently resides in Pasadena, California where he is completing doctoral studies in Greco-Roman, Jewish and Christian history and theology.
