With their dockyards nestled in the frozen tundra of Minnesota, the captains of the Port Polar Bear combat club build 144th-scale model warships from the First and Second World War -- each with one or more BB cannons on board -- and battle the boats in shallow ponds across the country. The cannons shoot holes through the thin, 1/32" balsa sides of their opponents, who quickly take on water and sink (in spite of an on-board bilge pump).
