The Police Dog Foundation
Throughout history, dogs have served mankind as relied upon guardians and trusted companions. In today’s increasingly complex society, they have continued to fulfill these roles, but now in ever more challenging ways, and to an extent even greater than previously necessary.
The Police Dog Foundation Inc. is an independent, California tax-exempt, charitable organization formed by concerned citizens and governed by a Board of Directors comprised of various professionals throughout the area. It serves the needs of several law enforcement organizations, but is not directly affiliated with, or responsible to, any one particular police agency. Those involved are simply concerned advocates for your local Police Dogs and their handlers.
This first line of defense for our community is where your Police Dog Foundation Inc., comes into play. The foundation’s goal is to provide direction and guidance for all K-9 programs in order to keep the teams performing at the highest possible level. We have made an absolute commitment to providing the best support for the dogs and their handlers.
