Pensacola Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home
Description
Staff - Our professional and compassionate staff has a wealth of experience in serving families. Our Funeral Director in Charge, being retired Navy, can discuss special arrangements to honor veterans, including burial at Barrancas National or Arlington National Cemetery.
Pensacola Memorial Gardens was founded in 1954 by Harry and Mildred Sutton. Their basic philosophy was to build a memorial park cemetery of beauty - one that provides a place of serenity and depicts LIFE, HOPE, LOVING CARE, and a NEW BEGINNING; also, a cemetery that would have perpetual care throughout the centuries, even after all the spaces are filled.
To date, only 25 of the 61 acres purchased have been developed. This leaves plenty of space for continued growth. Statues of Christ, the Last Supper, and the Apostles sculpted in Italy from pure Carrara marble by renowned artists are a few of the features that enhance the gardens.
