Patrick grew up in Janesville, Wisconsin, attended Santa Barbara City College (CA) and the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire. He and his wife Maureen made Maui their home since 1979.

Patrick’s love of exotic location photography began in his teens. Immediately upon graduating from high school in 1970 he toured sixteen country’s in Europe and northern Africa enthusiastically taking photographs along the way. Since that initial introduction to the world of travel and photography he has photographed in all seven continents, toured in over forty countries and amassed an impressive collection of exotic location photography.

In 1972 he began his career in photography in San Diego, California with Deans Photo Service. Gaining experience as he advanced in positions, he worked for such renowned companies as Technicolor in Honolulu, HI and Mission Country Photo in Santa Barbara, CA. Upon moving to Maui in 1979 he continued his photography career with Makai Camera, Lahaina Camera Center, Nagamine Camera, Fox Photo and finally, served as Director of Photography at the Maui Marriott for thirteen years. Patrick, and his wife Maureen, then started their own professional photography company in 1999.
