- My love of electric toy trains began at age four when my parents gave me my first Lionel train set. Today I am an avid collector of antique trains and have been for over thirty years. Having been an active, long-time member of the TCA (Train Collectors Association) and the LCCA (Lionel Collectors Club of America), I have enjoyed meeting many fellow train enthusiasts through the years - both at train meets (local and national) and at my retail store, which my wife and I now operate. Actually, I turned my hobby interests into a business about sixteen years ago and since that time have branched out into other hobbies, such as radio-controlled planes/helis/cars/trucks, models (diecast and plastic), and slot cars.
