Title

Milwaukee: Pizza Shuttle

Description

The carved oak molding, framing our menu board in the dining room originally graced the entry foyer of the "Peck" Mansion built in 1888 on the east shore of Lac La Belle in Oconomowoc, WI and was demolished in 1991.

Okay, picture this. It's one thirty in the morning. You're at home alone, and you're starving. You don't really want to go out to eat because you're too lazy, or for whatever reason. None of the eateries on North Ave. or Oakland Ave. have delivery service at this time of night. So what do you do? Call Pizza Shuttle, of course. If you're craving pizzas, well that's our specialty. If you're not in the mood for a pie, we have burgers, pasta, subs and even pork ribs. For dessert, there's always custard.

The restaurant itself is a popular local hangout. It's a meeting spot. Come here at any time of the day, whether it's ten in the morning or two in the morning, there's always groups of people congregating. Get a slice of pizza and a soda, and just sit for hours. The atmosphere is always lively, thanks in part to the outrageous antics of some of the employees. All kinds of people work at Pizza Shuttle, and they help make the atmosphere inviting to different types of clientele: skateboarders, hip hop kids, hippies, students, artists or business people. It's a melting pot.
