Description
PianoMedia has gone through several incarnations since it was begun in the year 2000. The idea behind the current site is just a simple blog for me to post random articles and thoughts related to my career as a pianist and piano teacher. There is also a link directory with links to other piano-related websites and to valuable music resources and services.
For any of you who might have registered on the old version of the site, you should know that all member information has been deleted as of 01.04.2005 and there is now no membership requirement to post comments on PianoMedia. Anyone may fill out the forms allowing you to comment on any blog post. If the new site begins to get a lot of traffic and a lot of repeat visitors, I may implement a registration system again.
And incidentally, the name PianoMedia comes from a fascinating piece of music by Toshi Ichiyanagi called “Piano Media”. Hear an excerpt at RachelJimenez.com.
