Description
She is a long-standing member of the Professional Photographers of America and the Professional Photographers of Ohio. In addition, she is a past President and past Chairman of the Board of The Profession Photographers of Central Ohio.
Over the years Shirlene has attended numerous seminars acquiring new ideas and techniques. In 1996 she attended the Professional Photographers of America's prestigious Winona Institute of Photography. Shirlene is dedicated to advancing her knowledge of photography, and it shows in her work.
In 1997 Shirlene was selected as one of the top ten photographers in the Mid-East Region, as well as finishing 5th in the State of Ohio. Shirlene also received a Court of Honors award, and is a recipient of the Fuji film Masterpiece award. At the 2004 Children's Photographers International Print Competition Shirlene was awarded First Place trophies in two categories.
