Hi, I'm Brett Bruner. I had been a loyal mail order customer of Phil's AMAZING Chili over the years, so when Phil & Maryellen decided they wanted to sell their business in order to be able to spend more time with their grandkids and do a little traveling, I decided to buy P&M Spice Company's products and secret recipes from them on April 11th, 2005. I want to provide you with Phil's AMAZING Chili and other delicious seasonings that you have come to know and love over the years. While I have changed the name of the company to MAVERICK SPICE, located in Bloomington, Indiana, I believe the Phil's AMAZING Chili products need no improvement. Now here's how it all got started....
Phil started makin’ Chili out of necessity while at College cause he was "addicted" to his Mom’s Chili and she wasn’t around to cook it for him. After several years, he finally got it right! Folks were always askin’ him to fix up a pot of that AMAZING Chili. Then, in 1993, our church was raising money for a building project, so Phil decided to sell his Chili-Mix for the event. Well, after just 6 short weeks of sellin’ our Chili-Mix to church members and friends, the Lord blessed our efforts and we were able to give beyond our wildest expectations to the building project (not to mention we had a lot of fun doing it!) It was with that same type of customer loyalty and satisfaction, that we built our spice-mix business on in 1993. We're so glad that Brett Bruner will offer you our AMAZING seasoning as MAVERICK SPICE COMPANY.
