PGGP was written by an elementary teacher. The main purpose was to write a program that prepares grades for the elementary teacher. That was the objective, and so far users find this is exactly what the program does! First, remember, you are licensed to use PGGP at home and school for your student grades. (Your spouse can also use PGGP... hope you have a long and happy marriage.)
PGGP can upload grades to Online Grades so parents can check on their child's grades using the Internet. PGGP can also upload grades to Report Card Time (RCT). RCT will quickly create pdf files that will print custom designed report cards. These cards can look like the hand written cards teachers traditionally use.
About the Author: George Beckman taught 5th and 6th grades for 31 years. He then accepted a position with the district as a Teacher on Special Assignment- Technology Coach. (One of his jobs was to inservice teachers in the use of PGGP.) Ruth and George retired as of June, 2005. PGGP will not retire.
