Originally established in 1981 as Allglass Australia we were one of the first businesses of our type in the region. The corporate focus in these early days was custom fabrication of GRP and thermoplastic products.
In the early 1990’s we developed proprietary designs for polypropylene electrowinning cells to service the growing demand by the gold industry. Through our commitment to continuous improvement this product range has been gradually extended and the designs optimized with different configurations developed to suit specific client requirements. Today our electrowinning cells represent the benchmark in the industry and are widely recognized around the world as setting the standard for performance and quality of manufacture.
Our corrosion resistant bifurcated axial fan design was originally developed to be applied in electrowinning cell fume extractions systems. The simple and robust design provides excellent performance for any application where high volume flows of corrosive gases are required and this is now one of our core products.
We changed our corporate name in the late 1990’s to Plastic Fabricators (WA) Pty Ltd to better reflect the industry that we work within. Notwithstanding this, we still trade as Allglass Australia for activities relating to the supply of electrowinning equipment. This is as a result of the strong brand recognition that we have established for these products around the globe.
We continue to manufacture a large range of custom products ranging from chemical storage tanks through to FRP cable tray. Typical materials of construction for thermoplastic materials are polypropylene, polyethylene, PTFE, PVDF, PFA, FEP, CPVC and PVC.
In 2005 we commenced supplying the Australian and regional market with ArmourCore piping products. These products represent a major development in the industry and combine the best attributes of both HDPE and steel piping systems. We are very excited by the scope of piping and pipeline applications which are now practical at a cost effective price as a result of this new generation composite piping material now being available.
