Title

Peppermaster - Experience Our Hot Sauce World!!

Description

Greg Brooks, our Peppermaster, grew up in the semi-tropical jungles of the Island of New Providence, Bahamas, WI. Hunting for the elusive wild red pineapple, avoiding poisonous insects, and spear-fishing for dinner gave him the taste for the wild and the need for intensity that can only be found in Peppermaster brand Hot Sauces.

Growing up watching the goats sniff out peppers on the bush before selecting and eating only the fullest, ripest and hottest ones gave him an appreciation for quality and selection. Following the goats' lead gave Greg the ability to enjoy extreme heat while still experiencing the flavour of the fruit and other background flavours, a talent much required in the making of extreme heat sauces.

Brooks Pepperfire Foods was incorporated in the spring of 2004 and has met with extraordinary success. In high demand at the One of a Kind Christmas and Spring Craft fairs in Toronto, and at the prestigious Salon des Metiers d'Arts de Quebec as well as the Nova Scotia Designer Craft Council shows, Brooks Pepperfire Foods is well on it's way to doubling in size for the third year in a row.

Since incorporating the company has moved into its corporate headquarters in Rigaud, Quebec and is constantly expanding their manufacturing facilities in order to respond to increasing demand for their products.

In the fall of 2004, Tina Brooks came on board to handle the marketing and sales of the company, developing new markets and sales opportunities.

In 2004, a marketing base was established in Vancouver with sales at the Circle Craft market.

In 2005, Brooks Pepperfire Foods, along with an investment partnership with the BDC invested $100,000 in production line facilities. Their kitchens were upgraded to allow the company the ability to co-pack and private label products for the North American Markets.

In July 2006, Brooks Pepperfire Foods presented the Peppermaster(tm) brand line of products in the Canada Pavillion at the New York Fancy Foods.

In December 2006, Brooks Pepperfire Foods launched their first retail sales activity with the opening of Merchandise Mart's Chicago One of a Kind Craft show.
