I didn't know why I was so unhappy in my chosen profession, but Elizabeth helped me realize that no matter what work I do, it has to be consistent with my values. Work isn't separate from my life, it's part of my life. It amazes me how often she hears things I didn't realize I'd said. Her ability to "read between the lines" is amazing. Elizabeth is the most sincerely positive and encouraging person I have ever met. After our talks I always feel like I can do anything. I'll miss our meetings when this process ends but I will be forever grateful that I had the opportunity to have her help me guide my future."
After years of climbing the corporate ladder, I came to a life crossroads in 1999. Feeling depleted, mentally exhausted and physically drained, I wondered if I should continue or take my talent, drive and ambition to re-configure myself and nurture the life balance I desperately wanted. With a husband and two young boys at home, eight-to-late just didn’t seem like an option anymore.
The first thing I did was take a time out, turning my attention inward. By asking myself “Where have I gone right?” I became deeply introspective. Re-connecting with the most special moments of my life, I shone a bright light on accomplishments, strengths, skills and innate talents.
