PCF is a game developer founded in February 2002 and located in Warsaw, Poland. Painkiller was our first project, however, most of the team members worked on many various games before: since 1992 we helped create 10 different titles, the best known one being "Gorky 17" ("Odium" in USA). The team consists of over 20 people, not including the external contractors.

We were trying hard to come up with something good for a couple of days, and even though some proposals sounded catchy, nothing really clicked. Then we came up with this strange idea of checking the names of various ambient/techno/house albums and songs. We figured these people, with the help of more or less legal substances, may have already come up with something good. After a couple of hours, boom, a song called "People Can Fly". Even though we continued our little research, that phrase didn't want to let go and we realized we have a winner. Only later we have found this quote from X-Files' Fox Mulder: "When you dream there are no rules, people can fly, anything can happen". Couldn't have said it better ourselves!
