Established in 1996, Penta began operations as a custom enterprise software development company. Within a few years, Penta entered into the Internet hosting and Application Server Provider (ASP) arena. Today, Penta is among select ASP companies that practice a philosophy of being a security-focused operation. Prior to Penta, there had been only a few ASP facilities globally with the commitment and means to ensure the privacy of client information equaled only by a private bank.
