Title

Peng Peng Wang's Art Conservation/Art Gallery

Description

Peng-Peng has been involved in art conservation and restoration since 1993. Her combined knowledge of science (MS of Material Science Engineering) and art (MA of Museum Studies Program) along with her enthusiasm for art and books of all forms affords her a unique approach to conservation.

Her works reflect extensive training in both Eastern and Western techniques including the use of professional digital image technology. Together, these skills allow Peng-Peng the most flexibility in applying the right process to each individual project. Using only the highest quality archival materials in her work, she prefers working with natural materials such as wheat paste and Japanese paper and believes that original materials and structures should be preserved whenever possible.

Peng-Peng has spent the last ten years working for private collectors, galleries, and institutions including the Achenbach Collection, SF Museum of Fine Art, the Hoover Archives at Stanford University and the National Central Library in Taiwan. She is currently working and living in the San Francisco Bay Area.
