Peace 1st is a grassroots effort mounted by North Carolina triangle area pacifists actively pursuing our four main goals of a non-violent response to recent events of terrorism. Through Non-Violence Education, Peace Action and Social Witness, Violence Response, and Peace Networking we hope to lead and engage the peace making community, and those who would join us, in being an active voice of conscience. In a time when many voices cry out loudly for vengeance and retaliation for a specified nation or group of people, we assume the role of proclaiming a louder voice that demands for, and leads us toward - justice, equality and peace for all people.
