- About the Artist
- Paul Milner was born in Hull, East Yorkshire, where he still lives and works today. His first career was as a professional keyboard player in a well-known 80's band. In 1994, Paul's interest in art became an obsession, forcing a change in his career. He took up formal studies in Art in East Yorkshire, concentrating on watercolour, where some of his early paintings, achieved success at the Hull Ferens Art Gallery. His early works featured unmistakably great British pastimes, beautifully lit figures engaged in sport, captured in landscapes and seascapes. His works quickly appealed to a wide audience, where he engaged and delighted art lovers in his unmistakably British and thought provoking childhood memories.
