Paperback Digital is a publisher and retailer of digital works in both written and audio formats. Founded by the same team that began Peanut Press (and grew it into Palm Digital Media), Paperback Digital is led by the industry's earliest and most experienced pioneers.
Paperback Digital was launched in 2004 to produce and publish downloadable, unabridged science-fiction audiobooks in a more usable, compact format than was then available. Using MP3 digital audio, Paperback Digital offers audio titles as both high-quality, downloadable audio files and as MP3 CDs (each of which can hold up to 17 hours of spoken audio). This means that we can provide titles at a fraction of the cost of traditional audiobooks -- audiobooks that are not just less expensive and downloadable but that also deliver truly breathtaking vocal acoustic fidelity.
In 2005 Paperback Digital expanded to include a huge catalog of ebooks in about forty categories of fiction and nonfiction. Our goal is to bring you the best selection in a simple, uncluttered online store at the absolute best prices available.
