Due to phone line technology, only customers within 16,000 copper feet of the SBC telephone office just off the Paola square are able to subscribe to this service. The same rule applies for Kansas City area customers. You must be within 16,000 copper feet of your local area telephone equipment capable of DSL in order for us to provide this service to you. You MUST be a customer of SBC's telephone service for us to provide you with DSL services.
