Pacific Rim Gourmet began in 1998 by delivering spices, ingredients and cookware from the countries of the Pacific Rim to family and friends. We adapted recipes from Thailand, Japan, China, Vietnam, Hawaii, Mexico and Indonesia to entertain in the home kitchen, and we shared "hard to find" ingredients with our customers via the internet. Over the years, we've expanded our offerings to make Pacific Rim Gourmet a one-stop source for authentic, quality products.
From the founders to our newest team members, our culturally diverse staff possess a rich array of food service experience. Every member of the Pacific Rim Gourmet family has an interest in food, cooking techniques and the expansion of the worldwide table. We believe that through food we share much more than just a physical necessity; we share a common bond and the opportunity to increase our understanding of the world and its people. From our kitchens, we can travel anywhere and anytime by turning a meal into an adventure.
The company has grown to include a partnership with Amazon.com and two stand-alone websites that cater to retail internet and mail order sales.
