Living as citizens, customers, employees, parents, or students, the ability of community members to enhance economic and civic development, to communicate effectively, and to improve their overall quality of life could be increased by better networking among organizations and people across the entire community. To this end, PACommNet is bringing Community Networks together which can link community assets to serve the diverse needs of people. Further, Community Networks can deliver the resources and social capital of a community to each citizen in a highly cost-effective and user-friendly manner. With their ongoing participation, people and organizations act as stakeholders to grow and sustain the network.
