Rather than an "I love me and my toys" site, I've designed it to be a reference for other Jaguar owners. I've been messing around with Coventry cars since the mid sixties when I bought a 1961 Austin Healy Sprite. Living on a college student's budget I quickly learned to either fix it myself or go broke paying someone else to do the work. After 23 years with the U.S. Air Force and moving every three years or so, we finally landed near St. Louis, Missouri where I renewed by relationship with Coventry Cars in the form of a 1974 Triumph TR-6. That led to numerous car shows and there, I always lusted for those shiny, restored Jaguars all in a line. So... In the fall of 2000, I found an XK-150 in New York City that had been purchased from a museum. It was pretty as a museum piece but NOTHING WORKED. Again it was "fix it myself or go broke time" and, after two years of pretty intense garage work I finally had it purring like a kitten. We then purchased a 1998 XJ8 Vanden Plas, followed by a 2001 XK8, followed by a 1973 Series 3 E-Type. That's it! That's it! There is no more room in the garages. Questions?
