Located in charming Aptos, California, a coastal community just over an hour south of San Francisco, Outside-In and Outside-In Kitchen opened their doors in 1996. Owners John and Jerri Hammond, a dynamic husband and wife team, have made it their mission to create a retail experience that reflects their love of travel and their passion for discovering beautiful objects that enrich everyday life. Together they travel the world seeking out small companies, independent factories, out of the way flea markets, and international trade shows from which to source unique products to offer their customers.
As a result both stores are filled from floor to ceiling with enticing displays of carefully selected home furnishings, handmade European ceramics, garden accessories, quality linens, delightful children's apparel, toys and books, gourmet food products, and exceptional kitchen accessories. John and Jerri have successfully combined the excitement of shopping in an upscale stylish environment with old world charm and visual attention to detail.
