AboutUs thrives on supplementing OurWork with OurAdHocWork. This page is to capture that ad-hoc work, at least enough so other interested people can find out more. Please use this page to post a very short-note about any ad-hoc work. Please include: Names of attendees, Subject, Any outcomes, Person to follow-up with, Time stamp, most recent at the top.
- MarkDilley and TakKendrick pair to create Template:CommunityNews on 19-Dec-07. We're still polishing it, but the idea is that this could be something that goes on CommunityMember's PersonalPages as a semi-dynamic list of news that are happening in the community. Further modules can be built for PortlandTech, current DailyBuzz news, or any other on-site news source with the intent that it'll help build, nurture and grow those particular communities. Naturally, if you're someone who's involved in a lot of communities within AboutUs you can add 2-3 or more of these modules to your PersonalPage and then have one place to go see the latest news you care about. -- TakKendrick
- Ray, Ward, Brandon, Mark, Tak, and Chris had an adhoc meeting this morning where we discussed contacting 10 PortlandTech people a day for a the whole of next week, to see what kind of response we get. - John, Mark, Ward, Brandon, Ray & Julia had a meeting with a consultant, Scott Mize, to discuss marketing potentials for AboutUs. We worked on a product offering and the badge. - Ted, Mark, Ward, John & Ray got together ad hoc to discuss Community's Inside Advantage. We came up with a great idea I'm going to try out this weekend & I'll report on this at the Monday Morning Meeting.
