Description
The farm was originally an educational farm for children with Ducks, Geese, Chickens, Miniature sheep and goats etc. However. Chiltern District council forced it to close, as they told us we were diversifying too much and forced us to stop. Ironically they have now made a complete U turn and are telling us we must diversify more.
Ten years ago, whilst visiting the States we were introduced to an Ostrich farm, realising that Ostriches did not need much land we decided to start Pathfinder Ostrich Farm.
Beginning with Fertile Eggs bought from Belgium, we hatched these eggs to produce our first chicks, over the next two years we brought these chicks on and they became our Breeders. We then started breading our own birds.
