Our Mission
Our parish is the only expression of the *One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church in the Magic Valley. St Ignatius Church proclaims the Gospel of salvation to all creation and serves all Orthodox Christian faithful, along with all who wish to learn about Christ's Holy Church, in southern and central Idaho.
Church Profile
Our parish church is under the autonomous jurisdiction of the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America. Our Metropolitan Archbishop, PHILIP, is a member of the Synod of Antioch, whose president is His Beatitude, Patriarch Ignatius IV.
The Patriarchal See of Antioch (the largest metropolis nearest the Holy Land in New Testament times) was established by the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul. It was "at Antioch that the disciples were first called Christians" (see the New Testament, the Book of Acts 11:25).
