- The original editor started this site as a hobby back in 1996. After years of servitude to the Surfpage, he decided to "pass the torch" to another Oregon surfer in the fall of 2003, and collect some much deserved compensation by selling the site. Hopefully he took a nice surf trip to Fiji!
