Oregon Cam Grinding was founded in Oregon in 1984 by the Heard family. The company specializes in grinding and remanufacturing camshafts for automotive and industrial uses. Because of the Heard family's commitment to racing and the performance car hobby, the company also distributes camshafts, cranks, pistons and related engine parts for racing and high performance engines. In 1989, the family-owned corporation relocated to Vancouver, Washington (just across the river from Portland, Oregon).
