Description
Optimuscrime was born on New Year’s Eve in 1979. We enjoyed approximately 14 hours of the ’70s. Though our memory is fuzzy, we presume those hours were spent in a coke-fueled orgy at Club 54. Our parents swear the hours were spent crying and squirming, but we figure they’re protecting us from the awful truth.
Our childhood was uneventful. Athletics were avoided. Computers were programmed. Science fiction novels were read. The debating club was strengthened by our formidable presence.
Optimuscrime’s adult life has been spent mostly in a state of prolonged studentdom at Queen’s and McGill. We’ve lived in London, Toronto, Kingston and Montreal. We managed to somehow get awarded a graduate degree in political science, which we (wrongly) assumes grants us a right to never shut up about matters of public policy.
