Since 1981, Onset has been exclusively dedicated to the design and manufacture of miniature, battery-powered data loggers. We focus on providing reliable and affordable loggers that are easy to use in a wide variety of indoor, outdoor and underwater applications. Our new 40,000 square-foot facility in Bourne, Massachusetts, allows us to meet the growing demand for our popular products. We now offer over 80 different models of miniature data loggers and controllers with exceptional quality and value.
We deliver tens of thousands of data loggers every year. This considerable volume allows us to obtain lower prices on parts, use a higher degree of automation and increase manufacturing efficiencies - all of which lead to significantly lower costs. Our philosophy is to pass on these savings to you. Currently, we have over 50,000 customers using over 1,000,000 data loggers around the world.
Designing a reliable logger comes from over 25 years of time-tested experience - keeping designs simple, choosing quality components and incorporatin g newer technologies. For example, our HOBO U-series data loggers offer direct USB interface, use the latest in surface mount technology and have over 90% of their components applied by automated pick-and-place machines. Since 1992, all of our data loggers have been manufactured at Onset, allowing us greater control over quality and resulting in highly reliable products.
