At Oaks Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), as in all Disciples churches, the Lord’s table around which we gather is an open table — open and free to all who confess Jesus as the Christ, the Son of the Living God. It is His table, not ours, thus it is on His behalf that we invite you to share with us in this most precious of feasts, regardless of denomination, home church, or congregation.
Oaks Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) has been serving Oak Forest and surrounding communities in Houston for over 50 years. We continue to grow into our future in faith with a positive and supportive outlook. Come visit us! You’ll find we’re much friendlier in person than online. Guests often remark that we are a loving, friendly church, and that they were drawn to come back by the evidence of our love for Christ and for each other.
We began the Oaks website with its own domain name of oakscc.org in April 1999. This website is a labor of love by the Oaks Webmaster, with much support, encouragement, and involvement from the Web Team and the congregation in general. We value the input of our guests, both to our church and our website.
