Beauty and wellness have been dominant themes in the career of Oakley Gardner. "Skin care has always been a field where I could combine my interests and strengths to help people," said Oakley. "I enjoy the fact that the science of skin care has progressed to the point where virtually everyone can benefit from it, feel better and also look better."
Oakley is a graduate of the University of Guelph in Canada where she earned a bachelors degree in psychology and a minor in biology. With her background and experience in science she set out to continue her education in the field of esthetics and create a career in skin care. She received advanced training from M.A.C. in Toronto and then attended the renowned Aveda Institute in Minneapolis.
"Education has always been very important to me. In skin care it is essential. So much research is being done in this field and it is so important to stay on top of it. I really want to be able to offer my clients the best quality of service," said Oakley. Oakley attends advanced training classes several times a year. She is planning an upcoming trip to Paris to study at the Sothys Institute of skin care. "The goal is to implement new services and techniques into my menu to fit all of my clients needs," said Oakley.
