Description
The shareholders work in the shop as managers for two days each month, and each has responsibility for one of the operating duties (e.g. publicity, displays, maintenance, roster)
As well as a manager there is an assistant on duty each day in the shop. These assistants are craftspeople who work alongside the daily manager one day each month, and in return pay a lower commission rate on their own sales in the shop.
Because we sell on behalf of craftspeople, we do not have to spend money to purchase stock. This helps us to keep our prices reasonable.
