NY Arts Alive was founded in 1998 to serve the local community with high-quality art, and arts education, programs and on-location art events.
In April, 2004, we moved into our current Studio & Gallery located in the Garnerville Arts & Industrial Center. This is a unique and vibrant community of artists and artisans located in Rockland County. We are just 35 miles from NYC, and 5-15 minutes from most local communities. We are 15 minutes from the TZ or Bear Mountain bridges. This is a gated-community with 24 hour security.
In March, 2006 we opened a second studio location upstairs at the historic homestead of Edward Hopper ---Hopper House Art Center in Nyack, NY.
