厦门象屿新创建码头有限公司为中外合资港口企业，成立于1992年12月并开始建设，1997年4月投入试营运，主要经营集装箱装卸、堆存、运输、仓储及其它相关配套业务。厦门象屿集团有限公司与香港新创建港口管理有限公司于2002年12月完成属下之东渡港区12-16号泊位的合并。重组之后的象屿新创建码头有限公司，投资总额由人民币3亿元增至人民币12亿元。
码头拥有完善的设备、设施和科学的管理方式，全年全天候向客户提供高效优质的港口装卸服务，作业效率已备受业界认同，吸引了包括马士基、美国总统、万海、山东海丰、达飞、商船三井、北欧亚、以星、太平船务、正利、德利航运等众多船公司挂靠象屿码头。现已开辟厦门至美西、欧洲、中东、澳大利亚、日本、及东南亚等干线航线，厦门至高雄、厦门至香港两条支线航线和厦门至福州、莆田、汕头三条内支线航线。
Xiamen New World Xiangyu Terminals Company Limited, a sino-foreign port management joint venture enterprise, commenced construction in December 1992 and started operation in April 1997, and mainly provides container loading & discharging, container storage, warehousing and other services related. Xiamen New World Xiangyu Terminals Company Limited, a subsidiary of Xiamen Xiang Yu Group Corporation and NWS Port Management Limited, completed the assets amalgamation of Berth no.12-16 in Dongdu Port District in December 2002. The terminal's total investment currently has been increased from RMB300 millions to RMB1200 millions.
